About Rayman Lights
Q1. Could you start by introducing Rayman Lights and what your business focuses on?
Jerry Pan:
Rayman Lights was founded in 2009 and is headquartered in Shenzhen, China. We specialize in LED lighting for the North American market, offering both OEM manufacturing and branded retail solutions.
Our factories in China and Vietnam handle large-scale production, and we partner with major retailers and marketplaces — including Sam’s Club, Lowe’s, The Home Depot, Wayfair, Overstock, Walmart, and Kohl’s.
Beyond OEM manufacturing, we also operate our own brand, Cedar Hill, and manage several licensed U.S. lighting brands across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. All our products comply with ETL, UL, and DLC standards, covering a wide range of indoor and outdoor lighting for both commercial and residential use.

We’ve always believed that good products deserve good systems. As our North American operations grew, we needed tools that could keep up with our pace.

Challenges Before Synctify
Q2. What challenges did you encounter before adopting Synctify?
Jennifer Zhang:
Our previous ERP system became a real bottleneck as we expanded. It simply couldn’t keep up with the demands of multi-channel operations.
We often waited days for support responses, which delayed our daily workflows. When orders went unprocessed for too long, they became untrackable — we lost visibility over fulfillment status.
Adding new sales channels was also difficult. The old system wasn’t flexible enough to integrate quickly, so every new connection required a long setup.
On the inventory side, we couldn’t selectively turn off synchronization for specific SKUs or channels. That made managing stock levels complicated, especially when coordinating between OEM and retail orders.
And most of our B2B workflows were manual — generating BOLs, marking shipments in the ERP, everything. It was slow, error-prone, and resource-intensive.
Choosing Synctify
Q3. What made you decide to switch to Synctify?
Jerry Pan:
We needed a solution that could help us automate and scale — a platform that could handle multi-channel operations, complex inventory rules, and North American retailer integrations all in one place.
Synctify stood out because it offered exactly that: retail-grade API and EDI integrations, an intuitive interface, and a responsive, hands-on support team.
More than just a software vendor, Synctify acted like a partner. They worked with us through onboarding, mapping our warehouses, setting up data flows, and even helping us analyze early results.
That collaboration made the transition smooth and built our trust very quickly.
Jennifer Zhang:
Synctify’s support feels real-time. Sometimes they fix issues before we even notice. That level of service saves time and gives us confidence.
Implementation & Key Features
Q4. What changes did you see after implementation?
Jennifer Zhang:
The difference was huge — both in speed and accuracy.
Our order processing time dropped by 67% once automation went live. Orders now flow from creation to shipment confirmation without manual intervention. That freed our team to focus on other strategic tasks.
We also started using Synctify’s exception-order detection, which automatically flags missing SKUs, shipping mismatches, or overselling. What used to take hours of manual checking can now be solved in about 30 minutes.
Jerry Pan:
During peak periods, Synctify’s automation kept everything on track. We processed more orders with fewer errors and a smaller team.
Q5. Beyond automation, which features made the biggest impact?
Jennifer Zhang:
Several features really stood out:
- Exception Order Handling
- This feature automatically detects and flags problem orders — like missing SKUs, overselling, or incorrect shipping details — and even identifies the root cause. What used to take hours of manual checking can now be resolved in around 30 minutes, keeping our workflows uninterrupted and our customers happy.

- Comprehensive Inventory Logs
- We can trace every adjustment, receipt, and shipment, which prevents both stockouts and overstocking.
- Multi-Warehouse & Virtual Warehouse Management
- Synctify helps us synchronize inventory across multiple warehouses and sales channels automatically, without manual updates. We can decide per SKU and per channel which inventory to sync, giving us complete control and flexibility over stock visibility and allocations.

- LTL Compliance & Auto-Generated BOLs
- For large shipments, Synctify automatically creates Bills of Lading and ensures we follow each retailer’s shipping compliance requirements. That used to take hours; now it’s done instantly.
- Flexible Reports & SKU Management
- We can export raw data for analysis and manage SKU variants, bundles, and aliases across multiple platforms with complete visibility.
Results & Performance Impact
Q6. What measurable results have you achieved with Synctify?
Jerry Pan:
Within the first three months, the impact was clear:
- 67% faster order processing
- 16× faster exception-order resolution
- 80% higher internal operational efficiency
- 10 new channels connected
- 20% GMV growth
All of this was achieved with the same team size, which really shows how much efficiency Synctify brought us.

Customer Partnership & Future Plans
Q7. How would you describe your partnership with Synctify?
Jennifer Zhang:
It feels more like a collaboration than a vendor-client relationship. The technical support team responds quickly, and they really understand how retail suppliers operate — that makes a big difference.
Jerry Pan:
Exactly. Synctify helps us think strategically about automation, not just technically. They’re a key part of our long-term digital growth.
Q8. What’s next for Rayman Lights?
Jerry Pan:
We plan to expand to more sales channels and make even greater use of Synctify’s advanced features. We see Synctify as a long-term partner in our digital transformation. The system gives us the flexibility and scalability we need to grow confidently.
